Mustafa i read both the articles,

what i think is that if america is really willing to send more troops in afghanistan what will be the purpose of these troops ?

first they will work in afghanistan secondly as i think that it is the right time for america to materialise its concept of balkanization of this region in the context of blood borders by utilizing these more troops for limited ground operations in Pakistan,

well how is it possible -------- the tribal region of pakistan is quite disturbed along with the issue of balochistan, we are almost in a situation of partial civil war, any foreign intrusion could be a devastating for pakistan, if america wants to create a new terroritory out of pakistan this is the right time to do so apart the consequences that they will face from us the pakistani nation as a result. May be this what american and Nato are thinking right now. we always think in a limited manner but they planned their things on a very large scale.

incase the balochistan freedom movement gets momentum at a high level and eventually get independence , where will its shockwaves go ----------- may be to Iran's Balochistan .

US Citizenship and Immigration Service website already showed Balochistan as a standalone entry in Country of Citizenship box. ( i posted this news sometime back in this forum ) , so if balochistan gets independent the US and NATO forces will invade it immediately in the name of stability and care protection etc .

This is what happened in 1971 when at the peak of uprising India opened its border with East Pakistan in the name of help and humanity.

well for Greater Balochistan --------- Iran's Balochistan and our Balochistan has to be united. The presence of so many troops in neighbouring afghanistan n uprisings and anti pakistan sentiments in balochs and insugencies in NWFP are pointing clearly towards the major shuffles in coming years.

GOD FORBID aisa kabhi na ho

The US has told Pakistan that it may start launching drone attacks against the Taliban leadership in the city of Quetta in a major escalation of its operations in the country.

An official at the Pakistani interior ministry told the Daily Telegraph: "The Americans said we have been raising this issue with you time and again. These elements are attacking Nato forces in southern Afghanistan, especially in Helmand. The Americans said 'If you don't take action, we will.'"  attacks in or around Quetta, in Baluchistan, would strike deep into the Pakistan government's territory and are likely to cause a huge outcry in the country.

Biden openly opposes troops surge in Afghanistan

baraka-obama1President Obama is spending much of the next two days — at least until he jets off to Copenhagen for his midnight diplomacy for Chicago’s Olympics bid — on Afghanistan. Today, he met with NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. On Wednesday he meets with the major players on Afghanistan strategy, an Oval Office meeting that includes Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen and Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the student of Afghanistan who said in a recent report that the 8-year-old war would end in failure without additional troops and changes in strategy aimed at gaining the trust of the Afghan people.
But perhaps the key meeting on Afghanistan policy comes this afternoon when Vice President Biden joins the president and the Pentagon secretary in a private, serious sit-down in the Oval Office.

Senator Joe Biden

The vice president’s plan: Scale back the overall American military footprint in Afghanistan, drop the mission of rescuing the country from the Taliban, focus on strikes against Al Qaeda along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border — the real threat to U.S. national security — using special forces and Predator missile attacks.
Biden, with a son serving in the military and years as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, also brings one memory to the table that the 48-year-old Obama does not. At 66, Biden has a visceral feel for the American casualties in Vietnam.

Obama, who campaigned for the presidency arguing that President Bush had focused too many troops in Iraq at the expense of Afghanistan, rejected Biden’s advice during the first round of Oval Office meetings back in March. Amid signs he is rethinking Afghan strategy, will Obama agree this time?
The White House is trying to douse expectations of a decision meeting for any of this week’s get-togethers.
“This isn’t going to be finished in one meeting,” said White House spokesman Robert Gibbs. “It’s not going to be finished in several meetings,” Los Angeles Times. Johanna Neuman. Biden urges Obama privately not to send more troops to Afghanistan.

Actually america is in deep trouble now I think it is trying to repeat the Veitnam episode but the territory it has selected (afghanistan) is causing them much more pain n stress.Plus greed of oil and natural resources and routes aur kuch insult of defeat is taking them to double standards and making it difficult to make a decision.

humpak, kaal raat Royal News par aik news chal rahi thee regarding drone attacks on Quetta. Royal news ki source k mutabiq Balochistan mae Copper aur Gold k wasee zakhair majood hai shaid duniya k sab se baray (not confirmed about it) aur ab America ki nazar in zakhair par hai jab k Pakistan mae aur bohat sari mineral resources hain jo shaid duniya k monh mae pani lanay k leay kafi hain. Like sawat mae emerald ki zakhair aur gilgit side par precious stones ki zakhair. Pakistan par qabza karne ka matlab yeh hai k aap ne 21st century ka bohat bara khazana hasil kar lia.
